Oakfield Athletic Football Club was established in early 2007 and thanks to a lot of hard work and determination has gained entry to the Down Area Football League from the season 2007/2008. The Club was set up in the hope of creating a friendly and welcoming place to play football, and to provide enjoyment of the game for young adults from all religious backgrounds and ethnic minorities. The club is dedicated to the memory of close friend Royston Magee who sadly lost his life at a young age to Multiple Myeloma, a strain of Cancer.
